One Good Trade. Nothing Less.

The screen hums. The numbers flicker. The market breathes like a wounded animal. He sits there, hands hovering over the keys, waiting, watching, thinking — this time, I won’t fuck it up.
He’s said it before. A thousand times. But today feels different. He printed the rules. Taped them to the monitor like holy scripture, a doctrine of self-control in a world of chaos.
One good trade. Nothing less.
It should be simple. Wait. Let the market come to you. But the fingers twitch. The mind races. He feels the itch — that hunger to click too soon, to chase the shadow of a move that doesn’t exist. Patience is a son of a bitch.
The market doesn’t care about his rules. It doesn’t care about his discipline. It will dangle temptation in front of his face like a drunk ex-lover at 2 AM, whispering, “Come on. Just one more.”
But he knows better now. Or at least, he thinks he does.
Monday is the test.
One good trade.
Nothing less.
