What Tier 3 Governs
Tier 3 governs decision discipline. It answers one question only:
Am I aligned enough to act right now?
This tier does not analyze markets. It does not interpret context. It does not search for opportunity.
It decides whether action is permitted.
Core Principle
A trade is not prediction. It is alignment expressed through action. If alignment is incomplete, the correct decision is not hesitation. It is refusal.
Standing down is execution.
The Four Integrity Gates
Before any order is placed, all four gates must pass. If any gate fails, the trade does not exist.
1. Context Fit
Does the current market context match a defined playbook setup? If this trade idea did not survive Tier 2, you should not be here.
No context fit means no trade.
2. Confirmation
Do I have sufficient confirmation right now? Confirmation is confluence, not hope. Structure, order flow, and timing must agree.
If confirmation is weak, late, or forced, alignment fails.
3. Disqualifiers
Is there any hard reason not to trade?
Examples include:
- Chop or unclear structure
- Excessive volatility or unacceptable stop distance
- Rule violations
- Emotional pressure or urgency
Disqualifiers override opportunity.
One disqualifier is enough to block action.
4. State Alignment
Am I centered, neutral, and present? This is not about confidence. It is about internal quiet.
If you are rushed, tilted, fearful, or forcing, alignment fails.
The Execution Rule
The Execution Gate is binary.
- All four gates pass → action is permitted
- Any gate fails → no trade
There is no partial credit. There are no exceptions.
The Click Protocol
When a trade presents itself, the sequence is simple.
- Recognize
Is this a valid playbook situation?
- Confirm
Do structure and flow align now?
- Align
Are identity, cognition, and state intact?
- Commit or Stand Down
Act decisively, or refuse without hesitation.
Delay is not caution. Delay is usually avoidance or hope.
After the Click
Execution integrity is audited after action.
Ask only:
- Did I honor the gate?
- Did I sneak around it?
- Was this alignment, or justification?
Outcome is irrelevant here. Integrity is the metric.
Relationship to Other Tiers
- Tier 1 defines who is allowed to trade
- Tier 2 defines what is valid
- Tier 3 decides whether action occurs
Tier 3 assumes identity is intact and cognition is complete. Its role is not to analyze or interpret, but to authorize or deny action in real time. A trade can be valid at Tier 2 and still be blocked at Tier 3.
This is not failure. This is discipline.
