Who you are when you sit down.
Tier 1 defines your identity standard. It answers the question:
What version of myself is allowed to trade?
Before cognition, before execution, before risk, identity is set here. If Tier 1 is unclear or violated, no higher tier can compensate.
What Tier 1 Governs
Tier 1 governs posture, not performance.
It defines:
- The stance you take before the market opens
- The commitments you operate under
- The behaviors that are permitted and forbidden regardless of outcome
This tier does not react to the market.
It precedes it.
The Daily Creed
The Daily Creed is your baseline identity declaration. It is not motivational. It is operational. Read it before every session. Return to it when discipline slips.
The Daily Creed
I master myself before I master markets.
I prepare with intent and act with clarity.
I trade only when edge is present.
I honor my risk without exception.
I manage trades by plan, not emotion.
I reflect honestly and refine continuously.
This is who I am when I trade.
Core Commitments
The Creed is supported by six core commitments. These are not preferences. They are non-negotiables.
1. I Prepare with Intent
I do not enter the market blind.
I define context, structure, and narrative before execution begins.
Preparation is not prediction. It is alignment.
If I am unprepared, I do not trade.
2. I Act Only with Edge
No setup, no trade.
No context, no click.
I do not chase movement or act from urgency.
I wait for qualified conditions and confirmed alignment.
Discipline in entry is discipline in identity.
3. I Honor My Risk
Risk is not a variable.
It is a vow.
I define the cost of being wrong before I enter.
I do not move, widen, or remove stops.
I respect daily and session limits without negotiation.
To violate risk is to violate myself.
4. I Manage with Clarity
I do not manage trades emotionally.
I do not exit early from fear or hold from hope.
My exits are planned.
My adjustments are deliberate.
When clarity disappears, I flatten.
5. I Trade as a Mirror
The market does not deceive me.
It reflects me.
Every impulse, hesitation, and deviation reveals my internal state.
I meet that reflection honestly and without excuse.
The market is feedback, not judgment.
6. I Reflect to Refine
I do not rush past experience.
Every session is reviewed.
Every mistake is examined.
Every insight is recorded.
Mastery is built through reflection, not repetition alone.
How Tier 1 Is Used
Tier 1 is checked:
- Before the session begins
- After emotional spikes
- When discipline wavers
- When confidence collapses or inflates
If identity is compromised, the correct action is not to adjust strategy. It is to stand down and realign.
Relationship to Higher Tiers
Tier 1 determines eligibility, not correctness. It defines whether I am in a posture that is allowed to engage the system at all.
- Tier 1 does not analyze the market.
- Tier 1 does not validate trade ideas.
- Tier 1 does not authorize execution.
Those responsibilities belong to higher tiers.
If Tier 1 is violated, the session is compromised regardless of opportunity or outcome. No amount of clarity or setup quality compensates for broken identity.
Tier 1 asks one question only:
Am I eligible to engage today?
Lock-In Statement
I do not trade to feel something.I trade to express integrity. If I violate my Creed, I stand down without argument.
